So I didn't end up getting that job I talked about last time. So many people showed up to interview, and I'm sure many many more have gone to volunteer. Basically a bust. It bothers me more because it was a group interview, with the existing employees deciding if they thought we would be good for the position; and they obviously thought poorly of me.
School has not been going well. I feel very lost. Even if I thought I could handle going to vet school at this point, my grades wouldn't get me in anywhere. I have nothing to work towards. I'm just a disappointment.
You're never a disappointment! You're whatever you want to be. Although it may be tough now, you need to take one step back, reflect, and move forward. I've heard that Vet is really competitive. Most schools judge a student solely on their GPA rather than their overall being. I think this is silly and unfair. Unfortunately, it's a tat hard to tumble down years of systematic barriers. Talk to an adviser about the choices you have at the moment. Perhaps there's another way to pursue your passion and get into a great Vet school who sees you for the brilliance that you are!
